Show run number 2 of the Hungarian Interski Demo Team at the Interski 2023 Congress in Levi, Finnland.

The description of the demo run:
1."The Hedge Trimmer"
Starting out in two horizontal lines of 5 skiers each. The two lines skiing crash against each other, shift the lines on every second turn.
The skiers developed a larger edge angle every second turn, that propelled them to the side.
It was difficult to arrive to the right spot. Those who did not have a skier in front of them, could only align to the skier on their side.
2.Diagonals
When only the last 2-2 skiers are aligned against each other in the two horizontal lines, the last skier to the left and right maintain their speed, while all other skiers gradually slow down. They form two diagonal lines of 3-3 skiers.
The difficulty of the move is the gradual speed reduction.
3.The "Snake"
When the two diagonal lines are formed, they determine the direction of the snake that heads out. The difficulty of this formation is for the first 3 skiers of each diagonal line to start in the right direction. They do not follow an obvious fall-line or start from the same turn, they just increase their turn radius to arrive in this formation.
4.The "Compost Bin/Shredder"
The middle four unit forming a square prepares space for themselves to change the rhythm and to switching their skiing technique.
The difficulty of this feature is that they have to gradually loose speed, stay together and stay in the middle of the formation at the same time.
5.Cogwheel
The two snakes diverge from each other and then at the central fall-line they converge in the center, working as two cogwheels.
The difficulty of this was to arrive at the central fall-line in a single file, staying with the skis in the same path and forming a wave effect.
6.The Long snake
After the cogwheel formation, the 3+3 line forms one single file creating the long snake and then in the next turn they open up again.
The challenge in this formation is that the team arriving in the snake has to get the timing just right, while the team leading the snake has to propel at the right time and speed in the other direction.
7.Short Radius Turn Crash
The long snake creates two single lines and ski in crash until stopping. Here the challenge was to find the right place for the two single files, so the 'Shredder/Compost Bin' can arrive in the middle.
8.Shredder/Compost Bin
The middle four skiers gradually slow down, and when there is enough space between the two lines, they speed up again skiing in crash and then stop.
Being shredded was a risk, because they were skiing in a deep position, with strong upper and lower body separation. This formation was named 'Compost Bin/Shredder' by the team, because they felt they could be shredded and wasted any time in the middle. This group of four skiers had to arrive just in the middle, shortly after the two lines on the side just stopped.
The challenge of this element was keeping the central line. Also their extra challenge was the timing: the slowing down and then speeding back up again. In rhythm what they had to ski was a bit slower, but they had to ski short radius carved turns at the same time, with strong upper and lower body separation. Skiing this close to one another is a challenge on its own, but being a block of 4 skiers, it was an extra challenge to take on. To top it off, they had to find their place just between the two lines that had just stopped at the end of the exercise and stop right after them.
