How to Make Energy Bites with Oats and Dates! Quick & Easy!
Looking for a quick, healthy, and insanely delicious snack that doesn’t require baking? You’re in the right place! In this video, I’ll show you how to make a no-bake oatmeal snack bar using just a handful of wholesome ingredients. It’s perfect for busy days, post-workout fuel, or even a sweet treat with your afternoon coffee.
We’re starting with rolled oats — a fiber-rich base that keeps you full and energized. Oats are great for digestion and help stabilize blood sugar levels. Then we add sunflower seeds, which are packed with healthy fats, vitamin E, and magnesium. They add a lovely crunch and a nutty flavor that pairs beautifully with the rest of the ingredients.
Next up: peanuts. These little powerhouses are full of protein and healthy fats, making them ideal for a satisfying snack. They also give the bars a rich, earthy taste. For natural sweetness, we’re using dates — nature’s candy! Dates are loaded with antioxidants, fiber, and essential minerals like potassium and iron. They also help bind the mixture together without needing any added sugar.
To spice things up, we add a touch of ground cinnamon. Not only does it smell amazing, but cinnamon also has anti-inflammatory properties and may help regulate blood sugar. And now for the fun part — chocolate! We’re using both dark and white chocolate to create a beautiful swirl effect and a flavor combo that’s hard to resist. Dark chocolate is rich in antioxidants and can boost your mood, while white chocolate adds a creamy sweetness that balances everything out.
This recipe is super flexible. You can swap the peanuts for almonds, use maple syrup instead of dates, or even add shredded coconut for extra texture. It’s also vegan-friendly if you use dairy-free chocolate. The best part? It takes less than 10 minutes to prep and only needs a short chill in the fridge to set.
Whether you’re meal-prepping for the week or just need a quick snack fix, these bars are a total win. They’re kid-friendly, lunchbox-approved, and perfect for sharing (or not — we won’t judge!). Plus, they look amazing with that marbled chocolate top — perfect for Instagram or your next picnic.
So grab your ingredients, hit play, and let’s make something delicious together. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more easy snack ideas twice a week. Let me know in the comments how yours turned out or if you added your own twist. Happy snacking!
