We tracked all of the harvests from our garden for a whole season. You'll never believe the incredible amount of food we produced in town. In this video we will go over why it's important to track your harvests, how we did it, the top 5 producing crops, and then we will reveal the total amount of food we harvested.
We used a digital scale, a notebook, and a spreadsheet to track all of the food we produced from our land.

We try to grow all of our own food so we can be as self-sufficient as possible. We live in zone 5A in Southern Wisconsin and we live on less than one acre. Our main garden is about 1,000 sq. ft., we have raised beds, and we also grow food on our fence. It's possible to feed your family from your own garden no matter how much space you have.
