Young Thug Deputy DA Questioned About Using Laptop During Testimony in RICO Case

YSL Judge Paige Reese Whitaker questioned Fulton County Deputy District Attorney Michael Sprinkel about using a laptop during his testimony last week. Sprinkel told Judge Whitaker he had a digital copy of a report on the laptop he referred back to instead of looking at the paper copy. He said he was not communicating with anyone on the computer. A motion was filed based on this incident.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
