Chinese Style Schezwan Chicken Samosa
(500 g Chicken )
Step 1️⃣ Boil the Chicken
Chicken – 500 g
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Black pepper – 1 tsp
Turmeric – ¼ tsp
Salt – to taste
Water – enough
Method:
Boil everything together for 15–20 minutes till chicken is fully cooked.
Drain water completely.
Shred or finely chop the boiled chicken. Keep aside.
Step 2️⃣ Prepare Chinese Schezwan Filling
Ingredients
Oil – 2 tbsp
Garlic (chopped) – 1½ tbsp
Green chilies (chopped) – 9
Onion (finely chopped) – 1
Cabbage (very finely chopped) – ½ cup
Capsicum (finely chopped) – ½ cup
Carrot (grated) – ½ cup
Schezwan red chili sauce – 1 tbsp
Soya sauce – 1 tbsp
Tomato sauce – 1 tbsp
Vinegar – 1 tsp
Tomato sause - 1 tbsp
Method:
Heat oil on high flame.
Add chopped garlic, green chilies. Sauté quickly.
Add onion and stir-fry till just soft.
Add cabbage, capsicum, carrot. Toss 2 minutes (keep crunchy).
Add boiled shredded chicken. Stir well.
Add Schezwan sauce, soya sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar, black pepper.
Mix and cook till mixture becomes dry, spicy, and aromatic.
Switch off flame and cool completely.
Step 3️⃣ Make Samosa
Take samosa patti / spring roll sheets
Make cone, fill with chicken mixture
Seal with maida-water paste
Step 4️⃣ Fry
Fry in medium-hot oil till crispy and reddish-golden
Drain well
Final Taste
