Four competitors faced off in the annual culinary competition at the 2024 Chef to Chef Conference in Austin after a full day of educational sessions. Conor Ball, Executive Chef of Martis Camp Club (Truckee, Calif.), took home the title with his pho beef tartare with pickled jalapeño, mango, and crispy wonton, and diver scallop ‘chowder’ with applewood smoked bacon, celery, and fennel.
