Amazon Echo & OpenHAB - the home automation dream comes together!

Alexa, meet OpenHAB! 96 hours into life with the Amazon Echo and the Amazon Echo Dot, the two are in fact best friends. There was a little "getting to know you", courtesy of the connector I'm using - a Java app called amazon-echo-ha-bridge.

Amazon Echo now controls my electric blanket, various power sockets (cheapo ones of course...), and of course different sets of lights. I've set the lights up using my 5 scenes per room, rather than individual control of each light. Better that way I think.
