I went to Korea for a weekend to watch a handful of theatre performances and Frankenstein was the last one!
Behold my very exhausted little post show review/rant where I try not to reveal spoilers but end up saying nothing at all.
TLDR: I went in blind not expecting this to be a Korean original production that had massive changes in plot from the original novel, so spent half the time confused. By the time I caught up with a quick intermission Google session, the musical went into its second act with ambitious set ups that largely fell flat. Messy pacing, musical numbers that sounded largely similar, great performances from the actors, impressive set but bad lighting. No idea how it survived a ten year run. (Sorry)
