Psstt here's the answer for how long the Lotus Garden Cake took!
⇾ 6hrs to make all the components (cake, frosting, crumb, salted egg yolk custard) and assemble
⇾ 12hrs to decorate (flower sculpting, piping leaves, full cake decoration)
so ~18hrs total!
