Finding Our Way in Gouda, The Netherlands 🇳🇱

The city of Gouda in The Netherlands is known for many things - and most notably - their CHEESE. In a recent trip to the city from our home in Amsterdam, we sampled MANY different types of Gouda cheese and might have even bought some to bring home with us.

Gouda is also the birthplace of the Dutch sweet treat, the stroopwafel. But it might look a little different than the stroopwafels you are used to seeing in the rest of The Netherlands. We grabbed some to go from the bakery that claims to have started it all: Kamphuisen Siroopwafels.

The weather did not really cooperate with us on this day, but we braved the rain to explore the city and learn a little more about it's history at the Museum Gouda.

This wasn't our first time to Gouda and it definitely will not be our last! And hopefully by the end of this video, you will know how to "properly" pronounce this city's name!
