The Storm of Mount Kinbō: Ōtaguro Tomoo's Story [MV]

This historical ballad tells the tale of Ōtaguro Tomoo, a shinto priest who led disillusioned samurai in the Shinpūren rebellion against the new Meiji government by launching an assault in Kumamoto in 1876. Unhappy with their loss of privilege and the rapid westernization the samurai assassinated the governor and the commander before attacking the confused garrison.
