The multiple 8-track cartridge player with interplanetary control

This RCA 8-track player is better than yours. It plays multiple cartridges, it is freshly refurbished, and it is personally upgraded with some new features and refinements to the original design. One of those is integration with a home automation standard that permits remote control over the Internet. So although it's not normally the machine's headlining feature, I could technically control it from any location with an Internet connection, even if that location is not Earth.

There is little information commonly available about RCA's line of 8-track changers, so I thought I'd make a little overview video of mine. This shows off the robust and high-quality design and simplicity of operation. It also shows off the unique modifications I made to mine to bring it a little closer to the modern era.

The 8-track cartridge, or "Stereo 8", is an audio tape format that is commercially obsolete but still enjoyed by many. It is not my goal to compete with modern formats or make the product practical by current standards. This is just a hobby.
