I went to Vientiane and Luang Prabang in Laos last December 2025 for the Christmas holidays. It was intentionally a slow and relaxing kind of trip. I enjoyed the calm vibes of the city and the people, immersed myself in the solemn Lao Buddhist culture, and traversed the mighty Mekong river onboard a traditional slow boat. It was an amazing experience just clearing my mind of worries, breathing slowly, and just being in the present moment. There was no rush or anything to catch. I'm just living as life unfolds and appreciating every moment with all my senses.
