City of Clovis - The New Autocar ACX Amrep

I cannot believe it myself!! Just a few months ago, I documented what was at the time Clovis's lone Autocar in the Solid Waste Management Department, a ACX Mammoth FL. Happy to report, this is no longer the case! This is the department's brand new ACX Amrep in its first week of service and I must say, it look amazing! Granted, this looks like your typical white Amrep ASL, and while I agree a green Clovis amrep would look real good, this works for me considering Clovis still used green for the accessory parts. The real difference between this truck and the first Amrep they ordered is the tailgate. The 520 only had your standard tailgate, but this one now is equipped with a strobe package and the half yellow tailgate as opposed to being completely white. Still missing the City logo and website on the back but it's the first week of service.

Years prior to this, Clovis dabbed their hands on an ACX Amrep demo unit but chose to stay loyal to Bridgeport and order more trucks from them until the arrival of the 2 Amrep FL's and the lone Peterbilt 520 Amrep ASL. As of right now, it stands as the second ACX garbage truck in the fleet with the potential of 1 more coming to the fleet eventually.

It sure was a hell of a pleasure to be able to document this truck! It's definitely one of a kind. I will definitely be revisiting this one in the very near future!
