Join me for the second leg of a 17.5-mile, 4,045-foot climb loop ride up Skyline Drive and down Parrish Creek Trail!
After a quick snack at the top, I headed down Parrish Creek Trail. On the descent, my legs got pissed, forcing me to stop at times for quick breaks. As fatigue set in, I got sloppy toward the end and laid the bike down not once but twice—nothing serious. I reached the car fried, sweaty, and itchy, but I was happy to have my portable shower and ice water to cool off. 98°F!
