Constructing a custom engine bay harness - PART 01

This is it. The time to construct an entire, motorsport grade, concentrically twisted, engine bay harness for the Subaru Impreza GC8 has come!

This episode goes deep into the details of what is required when tackling a job like this. From the harness planning, listing sensors, actuators and other components, measuring and mapping the harness layout to the TXL wires, tools and other wiring materials that are used when constructing a custom, motorsport-grade, concentrically twisted, engine bay harness. Of course, for maximum flexibility, we're using the ‪@haltech‬ Elite 1500 ECU in order to enable all the engine and motorsport functions we will be needing.

We will also be using a Deutsch bulkhead connector for serviceability and convenience.

Now, although Tefzel wire is the most professional option available when constructing a motorsport-grade engine bay harness, we will be using TXL wires for this build in order to bring the total cost down.
