I look forward to a career in aviation and I do have a passion for flying. However, there are some things that leave me feeling apprehensive. What does the day-to-day job actually look like once the novelty of flying has worn off? What is the role of an airline pilot best suited to those that enjoy stability and routine to the max?

In this video I share some of my concerns about the day-to-day reality of flying for the airlines and talk through the questions that have been on my mind as I continue moving toward this career path. My goal is simply to open up a discussion for anyone who has experience or perspective to share. I hope this video provides a useful prompt for viewers to reflect on the nature of the job and to help others understand what long-term fulfillment in this industry might look like.
