We interviewed Sukhranjan Dey Ji and Dhonilal Barui Ji, two elderly Bangladeshi Hindu refugees living in Gunjariya Islampur, West Bengal, just 11 kilometers from the Bangladesh border.
This colony is home to around 450 Bangladeshi Hindu families who were forced to flee continuous persecution starting from the 1960s. Loot, fear, humiliation, and forced displacement became their daily reality in Bangladesh — and that trauma has followed them across borders.
Even today, life here is unsafe, under-supported, and ignored.
What is striking is that despite decades of neglect, these elders still have hope from Modi Ji and India. They believe Bangladesh must be pressured to stop persecuting its minorities, but they also question why ground-level support is missing even after reaching India.
This video is not about politics.
It is about civilizational responsibility.
As a Sanatani society, we are lacking on multiple fronts —
• Legal support
• Security assurance
• Livelihood stability
• Community protection
• Organized advocacy
This is where you, as a humanity-loving person, matter.
You may not live near the border,
You may not know these families personally,
But your support can change their ground reality.
Hindu Samman Foundation (HSF) is working on the ground to document, support, and uplift such forgotten Hindu refugee colonies — but this work cannot continue without societal participation.
📌 Watch. Share. Support.
Because silence has already cost them decades.
Jai Shri Ram.

At Hindu Samman Foundation, our work revolves around advocating for basic human rights, especially those who have fled religious violence from **Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan**, and other conflict zones where **Sanatan Dharma followers are targeted simply for their faith**.
For us, a Hindu includes all followers of *Sanatan Dharma* – *Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, and Buddhists* and people of Indian origin.
We do **not recognize caste divisions**.
We are a *non-political, purely charitable* organization committed to the *unity, dignity, and empowerment* of every soul.
If you believe in **Dharma, justice, and seva**, then HSF belongs to you — and you belong to HSF. ✊
