First downwind run on the Axis Foils ART899 went exactly as expected.
Lift off speed is slightly higher than the ART999, so it took a couple of extra strokes to paddle up. Once up there was less drag than the 999, so it was better for chasing down and overtaking the bumps in front.
I included all the clip from the moment I hit record and stood up, to the end of the ride at the beach. I like to study all the details including how long it took me to get on foil, how many strokes I took etc. I'm happy with how quickly I got on foil here.
I'm riding AXIS Foils ART899, Progressive 325 stab and 82cm High Modulus Power Carbon mast.
