Dormiveglia – an Italian word that literally translates to "sleep-wake". It describes that delicate state between dreaming and waking, where thoughts drift and reality still feels soft around the edges.
This piece was born from that in-between. The melodies flow into one another, sometimes dissonant, sometimes warm, like a dream that almost fades before you open your eyes.

I recorded this piece at Siccas Guitars on a very special instrument: a Hermann Hauser II from 1956 that once belonged to the famous Venezuelan guitarist and composer Antonio Lauro. Playing this guitar felt like connecting to a rich, intimate part of music history.
