Niagara police investigate Grimsby jewelry store robbery

Niagara police are looking for six people suspected of robbing a Harmony Jewellers Saturday afternoon in Grimsby.
Officers say six suspects entered the jewelry store found at 37 Main St. West at around 3:50 p.m. by smashing the front entrance with small sledgehammers.
Investigators say they then smashed several display cases and removed jewelry from the cases.
Police say the suspects then left the store, and fled in a vehicle moving toward Mountain Street.
The jewelry store was open during the robbery but there was no reported injuries.
Each suspect is described to have been wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves – some being latex surgical gloves.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
