[RO] „Teiul secular” sau „The old Lime Tree” este un aranjament al unui cântec tradițional rusesc realizat de către Sergei Rudnev (n. 1955). Compozitor și chitarist virtuoz deopotrivă, Rudnev îmbină în muzica sa elemente din folclorul țării natale cu tehnici clasice, cum este și cazul lucrării de față. Pornește de la simpla intonare a melodiei și, prin continua transformare a materialului și utilizarea mai multor tehnici specifice chitarei, ajunge la o complexitate care împinge la limită atât interpretul, cât și instrumentul.

Robert-Andrei Nagy este un chitarist clasic român. Călătoria lui muzicală a început la vârsta de 12 ani, la Liceul de Arte ,,Plugor Sándor” din Sfântu Gheorghe. Îndrumat de către profesorul Kurta Bela, a participat la diferite concursuri de interpretare. A devenit student al Academiei Naționale de Muzică „Gheorghe Dima” din Cluj-Napoca în anul 2018, unde a studiat la clasa profesorilor Constantin Andrei și Beke Istvan Ferenc. În anul 2023 a obținut o bursă Erasmus la Academia de Muzică „Liszt Ferenc” din Budapesta, unde a studiat sub tutela lui Csaki Andras. În prezent urmează studii doctorale la Academia Națională de Muzică „Gheorghe Dima”.


[EN] "The old Lime Tree" is an arrangement of a traditional Russian song by Sergei Rudnev (b. 1955). Composer and virtuoso guitarist alike, Rudnev combines elements from the folklore of his native country with classical techniques, as is the case with the present work. It starts from the simple intonation of the melody and, through the continuous transformation of the material and the use of several techniques specific to the guitar, it reaches a complexity that pushes both the performer and the instrument to the limit.

Robert-Andrei Nagy is a Romanian classical guitarist. His musical journey began at the age of 12, at the "Plugor Sándor" Arts High School in Sfântu Gheorghe. Guided by professor Kurta Bela, he participated in various interpretation competitions. He became a student of the "Gheorghe Dima" National Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca in 2018, where he studied in the class of professors Constantin Andrei and Beke Istvan Ferenc. In 2023 he obtained an Erasmus scholarship at the "Liszt Ferenc" Academy of Music in Budapest, where he studied under the tutelage of Csaki Andras. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies at the "Gheorghe Dima" National Academy of Music.
