Why the Apocrypha is NOT Canonical: Voice of Reason DEBUNKED - Protestant Canon is CORRECT

Voice of Reason, a popular Roman Catholic apologists, attempts to gaslight you into thinking that NO ONE held to a Protestant Old Testament Canon until Martin Luther supposedly invented it. We cite evidence of, not only several Church Fathers with a “Protestant Old Testament”, but even Roman Catholic Cardinals and Priests who held Luther's same position on the OT canon. Additionally, we nuance the issue by pointing out the understanding that many in th early church had regarding the Canon; namely that some books (i.e. the Hebrew OT) were for doctrine while other books (i.e. the Apocrypha) were not as authoritative and only to be used for edification, NOT doctrine.
