This is my low-budget, amateur review of the FunWhole (now Lumibricks) Record Store (Model F9058) — a modular LEGO alternative that lights up with 15 LED bricks. The set has 1,980 pieces, 6 minifigures, and over 90 printed parts (no stickers!), making it one of the most detailed street-style kits I’ve built. The retail price is $134.99 USD (Sep. 2025)
💡 Set Details:
1,980 pieces total
15 LED lights (batteries required)
6 minifigures: shop owner, DJ, hip-hop artist, graffiti artist, fans
90+ printed bricks (album covers, graffiti, signs, discs, glowing TV)
Modular “drawer-floor” design with removable roof and swing-open sides
🏢 Floors:
First: Record shop with vinyl displays and street details
Second: Recording studio
Third: Lounge/party/meeting area
📏 Compatibility:
Fits standard 32x32 stud baseplate, compatible with LEGO and other brands.
The retail price in May 2025 was $134.99 USD, but I grabbed it for $101.24 (not sponsored). Let’s see if the FunWhole Record Store is worth it as a budget-friendly, light-up modular city set.
