In order to be useful to the Countermeasures Committee, even if only a little, Serika has put in continuous effort, even working multiple part-time jobs at a time. For New Year's, she chose to work part-time as a miko. She isn't necessarily that fond of shrine maidens in particular, nor does she have extensive knowledge about them, but thanks to her personality of trying to accomplish basically any task entrusted to her, it seems she is giving it her all at this job, too (though apparently, one of her real reasons for taking the job was because she found out that the more miko-like she acted, the higher her hourly wage would be).
