Ingredients:
Rice or Idli rice - 1 cup
Moong dal - 1/2 cup
Fenugreek seeds - 1 tbsp
Flattented rice/ poha - 1/4 cup
Water - as required
Salt - to taste
Some podi masala/ gunpowder
For Aloo Masala :
Oil - 2 tbsp
Chana dal - 1/2 tbsp
Urad dal/ moong dal - 1/2 tbsp
Mustard Seeds (rai) - 1/2 tbsp
Green chilli - 2
Curry leaves - 8-10
Thinly sliced onions - 2
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
Boiled potatoes - 3 medium size roughly chopped
Salt - to taste
Coriander leaves - a handful
For mint Coconut chutney :
Fresh coconut - 1/2 cup
Fresh mint - 1/2 cup
Fresh coriander - 1/4 cup
Ginger - 1/2 inch pc
Green chilli - 2-3
Roasted peanuts - 3-4 tbsp
Dry deseeded Tamarind (imli) - 1 tbsp or lemon juice
Salt - 1/2 tbsp
Water - as required
For tadhka :
Oil - 1 tbsp
Urad or moong dal - 1/2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Curry leaves - 8-10
Dry red chilli - 1-2
