Medley: The Music of Wallace and Gromit (Concert Band)

Featuring selections from their first adventure 'A Grand Day Out', 'The Wrong Trousers' and 'Curse of the Were-Rabbit', this medley brings together the distinctive British sound of Wallace & Gromit, saving the world in their own unique way! Opening with the famous 'Wallace and Gromit Theme', the tension soon mounts with dramatic stabs and mournful moments from 'The Wrong Trousers', along with music from the exciting train chase finale; the lively 'Anti-Pesto to the Rescue' shifts things up a gear before concluding with a tiny bit more of the theme and the all important Triangle solo towards the end. The warm sound of the Cornet is preferred over Trumpet, to really emphasise the brass band character of the themes. One for all ages to enjoy, this medley will be a treat for advanced-intermediate bands and give your audience a slice of the intrepid duo in action.
