Lexus GS350 vs F Sport: One Aero Change Makes All the Difference (CFD Tested)

Is the Lexus GS350 F Sport actually more aerodynamic — or does it just look that way?

In this video, I run CFD simulations on the standard Lexus GS350 and the F Sport package to see what really changes aerodynamically.
This isn’t about styling — it’s about lift, drag, flow separation, and pressure distribution.

Using identical simulation conditions, we compare:

Velocity, pressure, and streamline behavior

Where lift is generated on a sedan

How the F Sport package changes flow without creating true downforce

Why Lexus focused on stability and lift reduction, not maximum grip

The result: a 44% reduction in lift, with only a small drag tradeoff — and a much clearer picture of what the F Sport package is actually doing.
