Dietitian Reviews Cobs New IBS-Friendly Bread (Low FODMAP)

Cobs has created a new bread that is Low FODMAP for people who have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and gluten sensitivity. I have some IBS myself. I love bread. I miss eating it. So I was very excited to try the new LOWFOD bread. In this video I review the bread and share my recommendations on whether or not you should buy it.
To be very clear, the bread does contain wheat and gluten. So, it is not suitable for people with celiac disease.
The bread has gone through extra processing so that while it does contain wheat and gluten, it is low FODMAP. Certified by Monash University (the people who discovered the FODMAP-IBS connection).
My recommendation: The bread is delicious! I suspect that it has a high Glycemic Index, which will cause you to have spikes and crashes in your blood sugar. So, I recommend it as a delicious bread to enjoy on occasion, rather than an everyday food.
