Body Recovered Near Shivalinga Temple in Lower Subansiri
Ziro, Sept 21:
In a tragic incident, police recovered the body of a man near the Shivalinga temple at Rachi on the afternoon of September 21, 2025.
The deceased has been identified as Kime Tamar, a resident of Hija village in Lower Subansiri district. His identity was confirmed by his wife, Kime Yamang, at the spot.
Confirming the development, Millo Lalyang, Officer-in-Charge of Hapoli Police Station, informed that a case has been registered under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The authorities have classified the case as an unnatural death, and a thorough investigation has been initiated.
Police have assured that further details will be revealed as the investigation unfolds.
