2026 BMW M2 CS

The 2026 BMW M2 CS is the most powerful rear-wheel-drive M car ever made by BMW. It features a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine producing 523 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 188 mph. Unlike the standard M2, the CS version is only available with an 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive—there’s no manual option.

BMW has focused on weight reduction by using carbon fiber for the hood, roof, and other parts, helping the M2 CS shed around 100 pounds compared to the base model. The suspension has been specially tuned for better performance on the track, and the car rides on lightweight forged alloy wheels—19 inches in the front and 20 inches in the rear.

The exterior design is aggressive and sporty, with standard colors like Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, and Portimao Blue. An optional Velvet Blue paint is available for an extra cost. Inside, the cabin features carbon fiber trim, Alcantara accents, and the latest BMW curved display running Operating System 8.5. Tech highlights include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, augmented reality navigation, and a head-up display.

Pricing starts at $99,775, including destination fees. Production will begin in August 2025 at BMW’s plant in Mexico, with limited availability expected by late summer 2025. This special edition is built for serious enthusiasts who want sharper handling, more power, and exclusive styling, though the price puts it well above the regular M2.
