MAKE A KIDS DESK FOR VIRTUAL LEARNING

School starts soon and school desks are selling out everywhere as parents prepare to homeschool. Why not save money and make your own! Here is an easy to follow DIY video I made while making my child's desk. Pair with the free plans from my website https://www.making-makers.com and after watching you should be able to make this simple but modern desk for your classroom for less than $100. I have made several for friends and neighbors and the great thing is you can cut the legs to any size desk you need. I will link below some helpful guides when deciding the proper desk height. Helpful links regarding proper desk height (simply adjust the length of the legs in my plans, which are for a 22" desk). Build whatever best suits your child's needs.

Materials Needed:
1 - 1x6x6 (or 8 depending on store)
1 - 1x3x6
1 - 2'x4' oak plywood (maple or birch is fine too)
1 - 2'x4' sanded plywood
1 - 4x4x8 non pressure treated pine/fir lumber
wood glue
screws - 2 1/2"
brad nails - 1 1/4"

Tools Recommended:
mitre/chop saw
table saw
brad nailer
drill
speed square
