It's so much fun making stuff !& learning...the point for me now in 2026 uniform. Scrappy messes and clearclusters CAN BE EVOCATIVE OF STORMS,SUDDENNESS,ACCIDENTS etc.A Tempest is a lotta movement ! .
I trhink I spent over 20hours on this and the opening wind figures didn't come until Jan.9 at 1a.m .So one day and an evening or really Friday morning! This one will be the one I Finish & enter in contests (yawn) ! If I can keep my enthusiasm & ambition up .
There are hundreds of contests and the teachers vote for their studentsso you havce to really be special beyond learning and technique . I see a lot of smart cookies who learned stuff but no spark no originality . I do it whether anyone else cares because I'm Amazed at what is inside me . Now what will happen if I really studied ,harmonic series and spectralisme , serialism and contemporary modes ? World is full of clever, smart, ingenious superbly-trained composers and then some schmuck wins . Siemens and Pulitzer are the few that matter ... and What Really Do I care at my age .
