Hi everyone!
Today I cooked various beef dishes complete from breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tapsilog is tapa(fried marinated or cured beef), sinangag(fried rice) and itlog(fried egg) combined in one plate. Mechado is a beef stew braised in tomato based sauce. Bistek is thinly sliced beef braised in soy sauce, calamansi juice and spices with a distinct onion on top cut in rings. Kare-kare is also a stew and it’s beef (traditionaly oxtail) braised in peanut sauce. Lastly, beef nilaga is a very comforting beef soup with simple vegetables such as potatoes, pechay and corn. It is cooked by slowly boiling beef in a flavorful soup.
