Downhill Corners at Mount Panorama in 25 different racing games (TOCA, Forza, GT and many more)

The Mount Panorama Circuit at Bathurst is the most iconic race track in Australia and it was just added back to Forza Motorsport with Update 15 for FM8. Here you can see the downhill section of the track in 25 different racing games, using cars from Ford and Holden, who were big rivals in the V8 Supercars Championship for many years. Enjoy the show!

My videos about race track corners with a lot of elevation in many different racing games keep doing well, so when I saw that Mount Panorama was coming to FM8 this month it was only natural to make it the next part of the series. And I will even cover multiple sections of the track in different videos!

Mount Panorama Circuit is a unique track that combines some long straights with very tight and twisty uphill and downhill sections. The downhill section features multiple well known corners like "Skyline", "The Dipper" and "Forrest's Elbow".

It was followed by Dick Johnson V8 Challenge and there was even a V8 Challenge game developed by DICE for EA Sports, which might be one of the least known EA racing games.

Codemasters featured the track in many of the TOCA and Grid games, although in several of the latter it was part of DLC packs. The TOCA Race Driver games even featured many cars and liveries from the V8 Supercars series and the games were even sold as official V8 Supercars games in Australia.

For many years the main battle in the V8 Supercars Championship was between the Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore and I actually picked cars from many successful drivers for this video, including Jamie Whincup, Scott McLaughlin, Mark Winterbottom, James Courtney, Garth Tander, Russell Ingall, Marcos Ambrose, Mark Skaife, Glenn Seton and Greg Murphy.

Forza already featured V8 Supercars in some of the Xbox 360 games but Mount Panorama only first appeared in FM5 on the Xbox One. There was however a fictional track called Blue Mountains Raceway in FM1 that was likely inspired by Mount Panorama.

Gran Turismo similarly had a Ford Falcon since GT3 but Mount Panorama was only added in GT6.
