An excellent but cold half an hour or so at East Boldon station, catching some LNER Diverts on the DCL [Durham Coast Line] and a suprise Northern double 158, as well as the metros.
East Boldon Station is served by Tyne And Wear Metro, with Northern, LNER and Grand Central passing through.
LNER pass through the station twice a day normally however due to diverts on the line on weekends in January and February 2023 there were more than usual.
