The Head Stone is the obvious "Stone" set in the moors on the south of the A57 road driving
towards Sheffield. On this walk the Head Stone is reached by walking down through Wyming Brook.
First there is a walk through the woods of Wyoming Brook and then over the moors to reach the Head Stone. It is then over the moors to get to Redmires reservoirs. The return to the car is on the paths around red mires reservoirs. This walk is on the edge of Sheffield but away from Wyoming Boork and red mires Reservoir it is not busy. A great half day walk over the moors.
