Filmed September 2023 in Hockley, TX and Galveston, TX. Austin and Val were probably the "most down for it" couple I've worked with. They told me from the outset that they loved the idea of jumping in the water, so we went down to Galveston to do just that. I love capturing visuals like that - visuals that really felt "cinematic" - but ultimately I'm most interested in their hearts for each other really being the point of the film. The beautiful visuals are just a part of telling that story.
Filmed on Blackmagic 6ks, Sony A74 and Leica R glass.
Graded in Da Vinci using Juan Melara's Film Unlimited Powergrade.
