I recently went camping in a forest along Lake Michigan. I made sure to dedicate some time to search the forest for salamanders. As it turns out, they were everywhere. Nearly every log had one. I found three different species of salamanders(Blue-Spotted, Spotted, and Red-Backed), and about 40 total salamanders. I also found a Wood Frog. Had a blast roaming the forest.
