How to install your new boot light harness into your Focus RS!

This is part 2 of resolving the issue of needing a second boot/trunk light in your Focus RS (or other Ford cars?) because Ford decided not to put one in the right hand side in order to save costs.

It is easy to get another bulb and housing and click it into the hole, the problem is that there are no wires on that side :(

This video shows how to get your new wiring harness in place - the wires that Ford didn't bother to give you - in order to get that second light in your Focus RS!

I believe that it was in 2017 to the end of production that Ford decided to save money by not adding the wiring and the second boot/trunk light, so if you have an older 2016 you should be fine!

For me, I find that while the bulb replacement from Autobeam in the single factory installed light is great, if using the boot/trunk to transport things that are in any way tall or stack up, it blocks the light from getting to the other side of the boot/trunk, which is especially inconvenient at night!

Once you get a harness to get the second light, there are a number of steps to follow to get it installed so this video guides you through the process, detailing all the tricky bits and things to watch out for so that you can do it yourself with ease!

I show you each part of the process step by step and end up with a very OEM looking setup - 2 perfectly fitted and factory looking lights, enhanced by being mega bright as I use an Autobeam replacement bulb!
