谷村町（やむらまち）駅は、山梨県都留市にある富士山麓電気鉄道富士急行線（大月線）の駅です。1929年6月19日開業の駅で、1日あたりの平均乗降人員は446人（2021年）です。今回は文化財登録もされている駅舎とホーム、城下町だった駅周辺、そして駅近隣にある鉄道をテーマにした宿泊施設「ぽっぽや」について紹介します。

Yamuramachi station, located at Tsuru city in Yamanashi prefecture, Japan, belongs to the Fujikyu Railway Fuji-kyuko line (or Otsuki line). This station opened on the June 19th, 1929. It had a daily average ridership of 446 passengers. This time, I will introduce the station building and platforms that are registered as cultural assets, the area around the station that used to be a castle town, and nearby railway-themed hotel "Poppoya".
