I went exploring Enoshima in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Eshima Shrine, where Benten is enshrined, the mysterious cave ``Iwaya'', and a spectacular view of the blue ocean. Enoshima is a land-connected island located in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and has been popular as one of Japan's leading tourist destinations for a long time. Ejima Shrine enshrines one of Japan's three major deities, Benzaiten, and has three shrines: Hetsu-miya, Nakatsu-miya, and Oku-tsu-miya, and is worshiped as the god of maritime safety and entertainment.

In addition, the ``Iwaya'' in the southern part of the island is a natural cave formed by sea erosion, and is also known as a training ground for Shugendo. During the 1923 Kanto Earthquake, the topography was uplifted and the unique topography we see today was formed.
