This video looks at the quality and measurement accuracy of different measurement tools, with the cost of those tools compared to the cost of black walnut boards. A viewer mentioned noticing up to 3/8” difference in the measurements of different tape measures when installing machines in factories, and suggested creating a video showing some of the differences between brands of tools that are domestically produced with a focus on accuracy versus a foreign made brand that has a focus on lower cost. In this video, I compare a $200 Woodpeckers 32” T-square ruler with a $80 AKNgoes 36” T-square ruler, which according to several reviews on Amazon is just as good as the Woodpeckers T-square ruler. Life is like a box of chocolate colored wood - sometimes the box contains surprises.
