These Pypes longtube headers are significantly less restrictive than the factory log manifolds and are much more efficient at scavenging the exhaust out of the cylinder heads. This means you get an increase in horsepower and torque, across the entire RPM range, while giving your pony an unmistakably muscular and intimidating soundtrack. The Pypes Long Tube Headers with Shorty X-Pipe is the mod of choice if you demand more power and an exhilarating sound from your muscle car.
Premium Quality Construction. The free-flowing design of the Pypes Long Tube Headers is made possible by using mandrel bent polished 304 stainless steel with a primary tube diameter of 1-5/8”. The Shorty X-Pipe mid-pipe is constructed from 16-gauge 409 stainless steel with 2.5” tubing to deliver a distinct raspy exhaust growl in conjunction with a solid gain in horsepower and torque. This kit is compatible with any stock or aftermarket catback exhaust.
Moderate to Complex Installation. The Pypes Long Tube Headers and Shorty X-Pipe are designed to replace the factory headers and mid-pipe on your 2005 to 2010 Mustang GT with the 4.6-liter V8 motor.
