Sports Radio is an indie rock band from Chicago. Pulling from elements of classic garage rock revival groups like The Strokes and modern dream pop bands like Real Estate, the band sits in a nice balance between texture and intensity. I was particularly into hearing the moments where all three guitars were playing different parts, harmonizing with each other. It was a cool sound. ///

These videos are a part of an ongoing series highlighting independent/DIY artists performing live music, mostly in and around Chicago. My goal with this series is to document these performances, to help smaller artists find new ears, and to help people in our community (and abroad) find cool new bands. I hope this will make the Chicago "scene" a more connected, supportive, boundless, and long-lasting community.
