Sometimes the most rewarding food experiences come from the most unassuming corners of the city. 📍 Today, I’m in JP Nagar at Swathi Restaurant, a spot that has been quietly serving robust coastal Mangalorean fare for 18 years. 🌊🐚

What makes this place stand out is the quiet dedication behind the scenes. The owner, Vasant Shetty, personally visits the fish market every single morning to handpick the freshest catch—from crabs and prawns to squid and seasonal fish. 🦑🐟

I dropped in unannounced and settled down for a spread that was flavourful, robustly spiced, and impressively fresh. It isn't about being fancy; it’s about a kitchen that stays true to its roots and remains incredibly light on the pocket.
🍛✨ If you are a seafood lover in South Bengaluru looking for quality without the fuss, Swathi is definitely a place to check out. 🍽️🙌
