【競技ルールについて】
極真道スタイル、IBMAキックボクシングスタイル共にポイントを取ると「技あり」の宣告と同時に点数を獲得します。点差が７点以上になると、「レスリングのテクニカルフォール」と同じく試合終了となります。その際は「勝負あり・一本」と宣告されます。また「技あり」は何度獲得しても柔道のように「一本」とはなりません。「一本」ダメージによるものではなく、「点差」、または選手の一時的な試合続行不能状態を「レフリー」が判断をして「勝負有り・一本」を宣告します。その他、詳細な競技規定があります。極真エリートスタイルは、ラウンド制で行い、各ラウンドごとにクリーンヒットの寡多、防御技術の優劣などを１０対１０のポイントからジャッジが減点法で採点します。アマチュアボクシングの採点方法とよく似た方式で競技を行います。

【About the competition rules】

In both Kyokushin-do and IBMA kickboxing styles, when a point is scored, the judge declares "waza-ari" and the points are awarded. If the difference in points is 7 or more, the match ends, just like a technical fall in wrestling. In that case, the judge declares "shobu-ari, ippon". Also, no matter how many times a "waza-ari" is scored, it does not become "ippon" like in judo. The referee judges the "point difference" or the player's temporary inability to continue the match, not the "ippon", and declares "shobu-ari, ippon". There are other detailed competition regulations. Kyokushin elite style is played in rounds, and the judges score each round based on the number of clean hits and the quality of defensive techniques using a 10-on-10 point deduction system. The competition is held in a similar way to amateur boxing.
