Come along on one of my favorite hikes in Central Oregon, Misery Ridge & Summit Loop at Smith Rock State Park! I hit the trail at the end of March, and it was a perfect, clear day for this 6-mile adventure with 1,700 feet of elevation gain.
From the summit, I got to see the Crooked River winding through the canyon, crazy rock formations, and even some distant mountains. The downhill stretch and walk along the river made for the perfect way to wrap up the hike.
