I had to stop Kaftrio

so this video really has been 5 months in the making (oops)
but I finally just wanted to bite the proverbial bullet & talk about my experience stopping the Kaftrio.

I needed a bit of processing time as the whole experience was pretty overwhelming to say the least. But I feel comfortable to talk about it now - especially as I know it may help some other people. Just from chatting to other people with CF, I know for some, Kaftrio hasn't been the miracle they had hoped for.

Unfortunately the same as every other medication it can bring it's own host of new problems. With every medication you really do have to weigh up what is right for you, & for me, the right choice was to stop the Kaftrio.

This video is by no means me discouraging people from the Kaftrio, suggesting that it will not work for you - this is just (as always) me sharing my personal experience !!
Every CF patient has the right to decide what drug works for them, so if you find that Kaftrio works wonders, that is amazing - but if you do decide it is not for you, that is perfectly ok too :) x
