📓 Christopher Seymore is a hillbilly poet with a honky-tonk soul — born in the pine-covered hills of upstate South Carolina and now burning up the dance floors of Houston, Texas. With his band The Western Cosplay, Seymore turns every barroom into a backroad revival, blending Appalachian grit, two-steppin’ twang, and a whiskey-soaked voice that sounds like it’s been marinated in heartbreak and diesel fumes.

Raised on church hymns and country gold, Seymore grew up chasing songs that bleed truth — the kind that make you raise a glass, curse an ex, or call your mama. His sound nods to the outlaw greats but stomps its own boots through the sawdust — raw, road-worn, and unapologetically real.

In Houston, Seymore has become a cornerstone of the local scene with his weekly “Horni Tonk Tuesday” residency — part roadhouse revival, part songwriter sanctuary. It’s where steel guitars cry, dancers spin till closing time, and Seymore keeps the neon glowing for anyone who still believes in the power of a sad song.

After more than twenty-five years chasing the muse down every dusty highway, Christopher Seymore is still doing what he does best — telling stories that hurt, singing songs that heal, and turning another long night into something worth remembering.
